A recent incident involving one of the malls security guards has crossed the line in what is an illegal detainment. Caught on camera the guard who identified himself as Kevin is seen on the victims cellphone video leading the victim against his will as he's told he's taking him to JCPenny. The victim requests a police officer several times as Kevin pulls the innocent young man without explanation, and in violation of his civil rights. After several minutes of being dragged and humiliated Kevin is told the victim is not the suspect they're looking for, but only after demeaning and traumatizing an innocent young man who was at the mall for a JOB INTERVIEW.

I love this mall. I have watched many changes to the stores and center kiosks. However, See's Candy, Wetzel's Pretzels and the children's playground are all cornerstones of this great mall. The food court has many great options including my favorite hot dog on a stick, I love their lemonade. JC Penney is another anchor store that has survived the test of time in this ever changing mall. You can find the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus in the same location every year with a Hoppy Aire and a Jolly Grin. There are a couple of new stores that have moved in that I am also excited about and have visited recently. First there is Jumpify which is an entire department store filled with jump houses where you can play with your kids for only $25/child for 1 hr. Second is chibi claw where you get 250 credits to use for $52.00 and then you get to play in an entire boutique sized store filled with claw machines.

I love that picture of the Christmas display in front of JCPenney! I still enjoy going to this mall. I am thankful that there is still that type of a traditional mall left between the Redlands and San Bernardino areas. I was just recently at this mall with two of my friends and there are still lots and lots of interesting stores to visit and exciting things to look at or purchase. They also have See's Candies and the Food Court. I recommend stopping by and visiting this mall.

“REMODEL ME” - Inland Center. The Inland Center is not a lost cause, like many malls today there’s a struggle to keep the place vibrant. Half of the mall is like a ghost town while the other half is bopping. I can tell that the SB community wants to be here and care about this mall, it’s got a lot of potential. However, the old-school 80s look that is the structure of the mall needs to go. The tables in the food court are scratched up and have seen too much love. I think if we added a Round One, more actual restaurants (instead of just the food court), interactive activities, and a theater this place can be successful like Ontario Mills. The mall has a lot of favorites like Macy’s, Hot Topic, Cinnabon etc, I have hope! There’s not a major variety of stores but it’s got a good foundation and decent value. The staff are a little stressed and have seen better days but I can tell they’re loyal! As for food, there’s a decent selection of standard food court items like Sbarro, Mongolian and Thai. The mall isn’t far from Orange Show or San Manuel Stadium so it’s cool to stop by before an event. There’s plenty of parking and I wouldn’t say the mall is lonely, lots of families and communit

Our local mall: It's small and not too showy--but it has just about anything you're looking for. There's a great parking structure that keeps your car out of the sun or rain. You'll find department stores and plenty of cool small businesses inside.
